Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American actor, comedian and activist After moving to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. She began her career as an actor for children. She came to prominence for her appearances in AT&T commercials on TV as salesperson Lily Adams from 2013 to 2016, and then from the year 2020. She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She was also a regular role in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was initially selected to voice the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, has been voiced that role since. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. At the age of two, she immigrated with her parents to the U.S. to escape antisemitism. She moved to West Hollywood. She began performing in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five due to the financial difficulties of her family. Vayntrub went to Beverly Hills High School briefly, but she dropped out during her second year. Then, she earned an GED, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She learned improv comedy from the Upright Citizens Brigade. .
